Rare Breed Wool

A collection of natural rare-breed wool, carefully spun for knitting and crochet. Celebrating the unique qualities of the wool of our rare breed sheep and mohair of our Angora Goats raised and cared for on our Highlands farm.

Each year, we will be producing 2–3 plant dyed colours of DK yarn, spun from our rare-breed flocks, and will release them in limited skeins and balls. Handcrafted, small-batch, and carefully curated, these colours will capture the season, the land, and the character of our animals. Once they’re gone, they’re gone — making each skein a little piece of Goatherdess magic.
